Meet Darryl

It’s not often you come across a leader who exemplifies integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment like Darryl Heffline. As one of the original couples in the group Darryl has faithfully led, we’ve had the privilege of witnessing his leadership up close. Darryl has consistently fostered an environment of trust, growth, and meaningful connection. His leadership goes beyond simply facilitating discussions — it’s about creating a space where couples feel safe to share, learn, and evolve together. Alongside his wife Dana—who not only supports him in leading our couples’ group but also leads a women’s Bible study with wisdom and grace—Darryl has consistently modeled what servant leadership looks like in everyday life. Together, they form a powerhouse of relational and spiritual wisdom and guidance, and it’s been incredible to see how they both impact lives in such positive and meaningful ways. If you’ve experienced Darryl’s leadership in person, you know that his wisdom is both rooted in experience and grounded in faith — and his book is no different. Darryl and Dana have been a foundational part of our journey, both individually and as a couple. Jonathan was deeply impacted by years in their young adult group and one-on-one mentoring with Darryl, and together we were blessed by their guidance through pre-marital counseling. Dana helped coordinate our wedding with care and excellence, and it meant the world to have Darryl officiate our ceremony.

Being part of Darryl and Dana’s young adult group was a meaningful and formative experience for me over many years. Darryl’s steady leadership, thoughtful teaching, and wise guidance helped shape my faith and character in lasting ways. When Kennedy and I got engaged, they welcomed her with warmth and support, and we both felt encouraged by the strong, genuine community they cultivated. Dana was also an incredible help in coordinating our wedding, something we’ll be forever grateful for. Their care, wisdom, and encouragement have left a lasting impact on both of us.

My wife and I have been part of Darryl and Dana Heffline’s Couple’s Group for seven years now and highly anticipate each semester’s gatherings. The topic of study is always relevant and inspiring but the fellowship, hospitality, and depth of relationships we have established with not only Darryl and Dana but other couples as well is priceless. Thank you, Darryl and Dana, we love you both!

The Hefflines’ faith is genuine, their love for God and His people is evident, and their prayers are sincere. We have seen their prayers and commitment to God’s people provide comfort and nourishment during every season of life. Their group has been a vital part of our lives as Christians, and we believe every believer needs a group like this.

Darryl’s leadership was instrumental in driving our global expansion by sourcing critical components from India—we’ll never forget the pivotal role he played throughout that effort. Thanks to the strong foundation Darryl helped build, our partnerships have flourished, and we’ve expanded into multiple new projects. We’ve also grown our footprint in the Southeast U.S. and recently onboarded a promising new manufacturing partner from India specializing in metal fabrications and weldments. Darryl’s contributions set the stage for all of this.

Darryl and Dana lead with deep biblical insight and powerful, Spirit-led prayer. Darryl carries a rare giftedness that consistently brings clarity, conviction, and encouragement—his wisdom is truly beyond compare. Dana’s warmth, hospitality, and touch of Southern charm create an environment of love and laughter that makes everyone feel at home.

Darryl and Dana are outstanding servants of Christ. Not only do they talk the talk, but they also walk the walk and genuinely show the love of Christ to others. My husband and I are truly blessed to know them.

Being in the married couple’s group under Darryl and Dana’s leadership has been such a blessing! We have found it very enriching and rewarding, not only as a couple, but as individuals in our walk with God.

I was part of Darryl and Dana’s young adult group for several years, and during that time, Darryl became a mentor to me—not just in faith, but in life. Outside of the group, we spent time talking through things like vision, mission, faith, family, fitness, and finances. Those conversations really helped me get a better sense of direction. The Shifting Gears in the Crossroads principles, in particular, gave me simple but meaningful ways to think about how all the pieces of my life fit together. They've helped me find more clarity and confidence in the steps I’m taking now.

I’ve had the privilege of serving alongside Darryl through complex transitions and global expansions. In every season, he has modeled true servant leadership—equipping his team with human and financial capital to exceed stretch goals, trusting us to do the work, and celebrating our wins as a team Beyond the boardroom, Darryl is an inspirational author whose words—and even more so, his actions—bring faith and purpose into the workplace. He listens deeply, believes unconditionally, and leads with humility that lifts others higher.
